General Manager

We are looking for an experienced casino professional to fulfil the role of General Manager based at our Castle Casino, Dudley. Would suit an experienced casino manager or deputy general manager looking for a step up.

The successful candidate will understand AML and SR to a high level. Will have smart commercial awareness, exceptional communication skills both written and verbal and be able to direct and lead a team effectively in line with company policy and procedures.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing data and other metrics to ensure commercial targets and other KPI’s are being achieved.
  • Providing a visible presence in the casino when on duty ensuring customers service policies are being implemented and customer needs are continually being met.
  • Taking personal ownership of maintaining high standards throughout the venue with a dedication to delivering consistent and ongoing improvements.
  • Developing and encouraging colleagues and team members to continually improve in all areas of the service we offer.
  • Being part of a team to assist in ongoing innovation to increase the level of service and products available to casino visitors.

Selection Criteria (Desirable):

  • A minimum of 3 years Management experience in a Casino Environment
  • A valid Personal Management License
  • Knowledge and understanding of the UK Casino regulatory environment
  • Understanding of all legislative requirements in relation to Responsible Gambling
  • An understanding of best practice to oversee HR and related matters.

    The job is dependent on suitable references.

    40 hrs permanent contract but spread over a 24/7 working week and subject to rota scheduling
