Casino 36 Wolverhampton hosted a fundraising networking lunch on Friday 1st December with special guest speaker Steve ‘Poundland’ Smith. The event raised a stunning £2,063.27 for the local campaign #Legacy4Lucy, which raises money for Breast Cancer Now!
The event at the Temple Street based Casino 36 sponsored by Avanti Kitchens, Blackthorn Accountants, Casino 36 and Staff Today, brought together over 75 guests from businesses all over the Black Country who generously lent their support. Following a warming chilli and rice lunch, Steve Smith gave a fascinating insight into his journey with Poundland and his tips for business success!
There was a raffle with prizes donated by Casino 36, Heaven by Deborah Mitchell, Tile Choice, The Mount Hotel, Corbelli Wines and an auction for a boxing glove signed by Anthony Joshua donated by Staff Today.
Jason Guy from the #Legacy4Lucy campaign said “I am bowled over by the success of this event and the generosity of the attendees. I would like to personally thank Steve Smith who kindly donated his time and all of the events sponsors.”
